Zebra was involved in the extensive renovation of Lawrence Boarding House in 2021 to convert the boy’s boarding house into a girl’s boarding house. The works involved renovating dormitories, introducing new bathrooms, renewing heating and electric systems and proposing new finishes for walls, ceilings and flooring.

The boarding house is based in the setting of several listed buildings on the campus. Zebra completed works for stages 3-6 submitting planning applications, tender drawings as well as working alongside the contractor as contract administrators and site support. We also worked alongside the conservation officer to ensure suitable materials were specified to the external amendments. The works modernised the boarding house creating a homely and functional environment for the students to live in.
