Metchley Hall is a new build 67 bed, 4 storey building designed for the post graduate student / nursing market. Comprising a contemporary aesthetic with traditional brick and render, this flat roofed landmark structure sits on the junction of Metchley Lane and Harborne Park Road in a prominent location, close to QE Hospital on the site of the former Golden Cross Public House. The site is located approximately 800 meters from the popular local centres of Harborne, Selly Oak and travel links via University train station.
The accommodation comprises 62 one bed studios, 3 one bed DDA compliant ground floor apartments, and 2 two bed apartments with roof terrace. Zebra were involved in the feasibility, planning and technical work for the scheme which incorporated pre-fabricated modular rooms with a traditionally built façade.
