Zebra led the planning for a padel facility that repurposed the roof of a multi-storey car park in Wandsworth, London. The design featured an exhibition court, gym, wellness room and cafe, as well as a rooftop bar and social area overlooking King George’s Park.
The roof incorporates large skylights, drawing abundant natural light into the court spaces and creating a bright, open playing environment. Lightweight structures and carefully considered material choices minimised additional load on the existing car park, while enhancing weather protection. The scheme transforms an underutilised urban asset into a vibrant sports and leisure destination, for both players and the wider community.
